We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Asterix Communications. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our engineering and related departments.

1. Departmental Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to engineering staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
2. Operational Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all engineering systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC equipment.
3. Facilities Management: Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
4. Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergencies and take charge of situations that require immediate attention.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
6. Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that engineering activities are aligned with business objectives.
7. Tool Management: Maintain a clean and organized tool room, ensuring that all tools are properly stored and secured.
8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities, including maintenance and repair work.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance engineering operations and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 3-7 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star hotel or a similar industry.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of engineering procedures and standards.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment and communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
