About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Geoscientist to lead our geological department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mine geology and a strong understanding of geological modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement grade control drilling programs to enhance geological knowledge and resource estimation.
  • Supervise a team of mine geologists, geotechnicians, and drilling contractors to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on geological matters and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate near-mine exploration targets and develop recommendations for future exploration initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Earth Science or related field
  • Professional registration as a geologist
