Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project costs, monitoring budget variances, and providing cost-related insights to our clients. You will work closely with our project controls teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive cost plans and budgets for large-scale projects.
- Analyse and report on project cost performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and successful outcomes.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve project management methodologies and cost estimation techniques.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in project cost management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services to clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a fast-paced project environment.
- Possession of a recognized professional certification in cost management or a related field (e.g., APMP, AACE).
