About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our EMEA Enterprise Controller team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as providing support for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Impact:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and interpreting financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and US GAAP
  • Preparing and posting financial journals and reconciliations
  • Supporting the month-end close process and ensuring timely submission of financial information to local authorities
  • Liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and associated accounting workflows
  • Supporting process improvement projects to identify and implement best practices across the region
What We're Looking For:

We are looking for an individual with a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with Oracle, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset. A Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent is required.
