About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as a Port and Vessel Operations Executive.

Responsibilities:
  • Port and Vessel Operations:
    • Manage daily port and vessel operations to ensure smooth and efficient handling of cargo and vessel movements.
    • Coordinate with port authorities, ship captains, and other stakeholders to ensure timely arrivals and departures of vessels.
  • Shipping ERP:
    • Use shipping ERP systems to track vessel movements, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics.
    • Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, vessel schedules, and other related data in the ERP system.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Prepare and manage documentation related to port and vessel operations, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork.
    • Generate regular reports on operations, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Liaise with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to coordinate vessel schedules and cargo handling.
    • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including clients, port authorities, and logistics partners.
Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in port and vessel operations within Saudi Arabia.
    • Prior experience working with shipping ERP systems is a must.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Familiarity with shipping and logistics software.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid Saudi driving license is required for candidates interested in sales and marketing positions.
    • Transferable Iqama is preferred.
    • Immediate availability is highly desirable.

Your Skills:

  • Cargo Handling: Experience in managing cargo handling processes and procedures.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with using ERP systems to track vessel movements and manage inventory.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
