We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hospitality Host to join our team at Sunset Hospitality Group. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Manage Waiting List: Effectively manage the waiting list, ensuring that guests are informed of wait times and provided with regular updates.
  • Offer Seating Arrangements: Offer guests suitable seating arrangements, taking into account their preferences and any special requirements.
  • Process Reservations: Receive and record customer dining reservations, ensuring that all details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Set Up Dining Rooms: Set up dining rooms and make reservation arrangements, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-presented.
  • Ensure Order Fulfillment: Ensure that all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner, meeting the high standards of our guests.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain clean and organized tables and work areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Provide Excellent Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests receive a positive and professional experience.
  • Report Guest Issues: Report any guest issues or complaints to management, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Attend Departmental Briefings: Attend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to open communication within the assigned team.
  • Perform Additional Duties: Perform other duties pertinent to this role as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or entertainment venue.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, with previous experience in restaurant software an advantage.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a cooperative and self-giving attitude.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, with a high level of energy and a positive attitude.
