Job Description

The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT infrastructure, systems, and operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives and shape the future of transportation technology in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Implement IT Strategies: Create and execute IT strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with business goals and industry standards.
  2. Lead and Manage IT Teams: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
  3. Oversee IT Systems and Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, and cybersecurity measures.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs, prioritize initiatives, and drive digital transformation projects.
  5. Ensure IT Reliability and Security: Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems and services, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
  6. Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the transport industry, leveraging insights to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  7. Manage IT Budgets and Resources: Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, maximizing ROI and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least one experience in the transport industry.
  3. Leadership and Technical Expertise: Proven track record of successfully leading IT teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong technical expertise across a broad range of IT domains, including infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise applications.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Strategic Thinking and Innovation: Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
