About the Job:

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the recording of transactions in Oracle GL, including period-end journal entries, reconciliations, and GL schedules.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and spreadsheets to support financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Work closely with the management team to identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage relationships with external and internal auditors, handling audit starts as needed.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in a group finance setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, MS Excel).
  • Proven ability with complex spreadsheet design and formatting, as well as knowledge of fund accounting or investment accounting packages.
