Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and machinery.

  • Oversee and coordinate the maintenance team's activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Lead the electrical maintenance team and schedule and organize maintenance activities as per the maintenance strategy.
  • Instruct, supervise, and control contractors, and perform site jobs if requested.
  • Maintain predictive, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out troubleshooting and emergency repair of installed electrical equipment/system.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns due to electrical issues and implement action plans timely.
  • Prepare and maintain contact documents for contract jobs, including AMC related to electrical maintenance and project jobs.
  • Plan for major turnarounds electrical scope and follow up all maintenance plans on Maximo CMMS.

Requirements:

  • +10 years of experience in electrical field of refinery/petrochemicals.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance MV & LV motors, switch gears (Panels, Breakers, MCC, etc), transformers, and electrical items (earthing systems, UPS, battery chargers, Generators, etc).
  • Familiar with LOTO procedures and knowledge in transformer protection, alternator protection, breaker protection, and motor protection and Feeder Protection.
  • Knowledge in LAPT, NGR, GRP & Metering Panels, medium voltage cable High-Potential Test, and electrical single line drawings and control circuit drawings.
  • Acceptable safety awareness, strong English, strong communication skills, leadership, and clear communications.
