Job Overview

Ben Khan is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Radiology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and PET/CT scans, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  2. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  3. Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including PET scanners and CT machines.
  4. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure optimal imaging results.
  5. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3-4 years of experience working as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a large acute-care hospital.
  3. Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
