As a key member of our energy sector risk management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of reinsurance strategies for clients across the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and assessment of energy sector risks, providing tailored solutions and advice on optimal reinsurance structures and coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, reinsurers, and internal teams to ensure effective program design and execution.
- Oversee the placement of energy reinsurance programs, ensuring competitive pricing, terms, and coverage adequacy.
- Stay informed on global energy market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to advise clients proactively.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field, as well as at least 5-7 years of experience in reinsurance, with a focus on the energy sector. You must also have strong knowledge of energy risks, reinsurance structures, and market dynamics, along with proven ability to manage client relationships, negotiate with reinsurers, and drive business growth.
