Job Title: HSE Engineer - Saudi National

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled HSE Engineer to promote a safe and secure working environment in line with SAPL and Client policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collate, analyze, and submit CSC and Contractor data in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports/statistics on behalf of the client.
  3. Lead by example, demonstrating safe personal behavior and representing the organization on the project site for HSE-related matters.
  4. Ensure supervisory consultant and contractor key deliverables are prepared, reviewed, approved, and implemented as necessary.
  5. Follow up with CSC HSE managers/engineers and contractors HSE managers for pending closeout actions of SOR, abnormal events, audits, and compliance inspections.
  6. Conduct monthly office assessments, including office inspections and office risk assessments.
  7. Conduct HSE assurance activities, including inspections, verification of close-out by contractors, document reviews, and support audits as required.
  8. Organize, attend HSE contractor meetings, prepare minutes of the meeting, and arrange HSE orientation for new employees and visitors.
  9. Conduct or support HSE awareness training for Parsons, CSC's, contractors, and clients as required.
  10. Support incident investigations as required and review information on first aid cases, near misses, injuries, damages, and losses.
  11. Liaise with client representatives as required on all HSE matters in a professional and responsible manner.
  12. Be flexible in working schedules to ensure adequate HSE cover during shift and weekend working.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience, with at least 2 in a similar role.
  3. Experience in the Middle East, KSA preferred.
  4. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
  5. Professional membership (IOSH, IIRSM).
  6. Report writing and data gathering.
  7. Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
  8. Good communication skills (strong command of English).
  9. Attention to detail.
  10. Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  11. Experience in use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
