About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at JASARA PMC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on delivering complex infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve outstanding results. They will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex project information to a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, ensuring all aspects of the project lifecycle are considered.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the project team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with stakeholders, leadership, and other teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Design Review: Drive alignment between design requirements and contractual requirements, reviewing and providing feedback on design documents.
  5. Procurement: Closely coordinate with the Procurement Team – input in scoping, tender reviews, performance analysis, etc.
  6. Training and Development: Develop junior employees' skills and knowledge through training sessions and workshops.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  8. Commercial Management: Support commercial budgeting and maintain financial controls to ensure projects remain within budget.
  9. Communication: Provide regular status reports and updates to senior level and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Higher National Diploma: Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  3. PMP or other relevant project management certification – desirable.
  4. 12 – 15 years relevant experience as a Project Manager, leading complex projects from initiation to closure.
  5. 15 years experience in infrastructure process plant experience preferably in design, build, and operate model.
  6. Evidence of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Diverse experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors.
  8. Previous KSA /Middle East experience preferred.
  9. Foster a culture of flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements.
  10. Expertly manages and prioritizes the workload of the team, deadline driven.
  11. Leverage exceptional written and verbal skills in English to effectively articulate ideas, strategies, and project performance to a range of audiences.
  12. Leverage in-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Aconex, or similar systems.
  13. Demonstrated leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and deliver results.
  14. Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead commercial function's direction, specifically endorsing or opposing practices as needed.
  15. Significant experience required in development, implementation, and management of business systems, including policies and procedures.
  16. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment and deliver challenging goals and objectives using industry knowledge to aid decision making.
  17. Ability to work collaboratively in team environment and across multiple departments.
  18. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
