We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at Kempinski Hotels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled masonry work, maintaining and repairing masonry and civil jobs around the hotel, and ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.

• Carry out all tiles grouting and blocking and other assigned civil works duties within the complex.
• Perform preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs as directed by Superiors.
• Repair, maintain, and alter buildings, retaining walls, and other brick or stone edifices.
• Mix mortar, lay bricks and stones, or concrete sidewalks, and make and repair steps.
• Patch and replace brick or stonework chimneys.
• Install and repair tile floors or walls.
• Read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls.
• Estimate masonry jobs and carry out carpentry work incidental to masonry work.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Very good knowledge of building equipment operation.
• Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
• Excellent oral and written skills in the local language.
• Good oral and written skills in English.
• Faculty of analysis, evaluation, and decision-making in the day-to-day business and in emergency situations.
• Computer literacy adapted to the field of training.
• Strong technical competencies, including software office skills and engineering administration system knowledge.
• Individual characteristics, including being people-oriented, entrepreneurial, straightforward, and sensitive to customer presence and constraints.
