At MSCI, we offer an in-depth look at private capital portfolios and investments, providing analytics, benchmarking, and decision support that allows clients to view funds by vintage, asset class, geography, and other metrics.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our sales team, focusing on selected segments within the institutional investor and family office community across the GCC. This role will be based in our Laysen Valley office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This Sales Specialist role involves originating new business and maintaining existing client relationships across the MSCI Private Capital suite of products. Travel may be required within the designated sales territory to meet with clients/prospects regarding new products and enhancements to existing products.

The role entails positioning and closing sales with prospective clients, upselling existing clients, and leveraging in-depth knowledge of the investment management process to identify needs and opportunities.

This is a highly visible role, involving senior-level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, sales closing, and ongoing relationship management. You will work closely with Sales Management, Relationship Management, Client Service, Product Management, Legal, and Sales Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve targeted quarterly and annual new net sales goals from clients.
  • Develop a strategic sales plan for allocated sales territory.
  • Establish a strong sales pipeline for each allocated country and industry segment.
  • Lead client engagement, needs assessment, and solution pitches for clients across your coverage territory.
  • Engage with high-level contacts and other major industry participants.
  • Address client inquiries regarding products and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, and finalized contracts.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other departments to ensure all client requests and inquiries are managed appropriately.
  • Solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development.
  • Provide feedback from clients to Marketing, Sales, Research, and Product Development groups.
  • Based in our Riyadh office in Laysen Valley, you will travel to client locations across the GCC as needed.
