Inventory Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our procurement and purchasing team, you will be responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper storage.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items, and adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience required, but a strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
