About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services Professional Services (AWS ProServe) ASEAN organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and guiding delivery teams to support customers in their adoption of AWS Cloud solutions.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience planning and executing complex cloud infrastructure, migrations, and modernisation engagements, as well as architecting and implementing Cloud Native platforms. You will work closely with in-country sales counterparts to sell and deliver data & analytics projects for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Influencing and leading customer experience and complex cloud infrastructure, migrations, and modernisation engagements from sales through delivery to produce high-quality, scalable outcomes.
  2. Developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  3. Hiring and developing builders capable of driving orchestrated adoption and execution of strategy, operations, and process design on behalf of the customer.
  4. Influencing, negotiating, and achieving results through others who are not direct reports.
  5. Investing in new market segments and establishing and maturing cross-functional initiatives that contribute to continuous improvement and accelerated growth across new areas and data & analytics specialty practices.
  6. Influencing and leading the production of frameworks, methods, and best practices that deliver prescriptive guidance to customers across areas and practices.
  7. Influencing the creation and implementation of scalable mechanisms that improve quality, productivity, and efficiency across the organization.
  8. Enabling and leading teams to effectively prioritize, develop, and deliver new and reusable assets that differentiate the AWS portfolio in data & analytics.
  9. Developing and executing the operational plan to achieve go-to-market financial and operational targets across customers, partners, and employees for the area, industry, and/or specialty practice led.
  10. Leading teams to provide adequate data into agreed sets of business tools and processes.
  11. Enabling regular visibility of performance levels versus plans.
  12. Establishing and executing strong control and governance that drives operational excellence.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in solving business, product, and technical challenges, and 5+ years of direct people management experience, leading high-performing service line teams including business operations and financial management.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of complex data & analytics strategies and solutions at scale supporting Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries and geographies.
  • Proficiency in cloud technology value proposition, principles, and services, including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer-facing technology.
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in the ASEAN region, and ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
