We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team as a Data Center Facility Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of AWS's data center facilities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, troubleshooting facility and rack-level events, and performing root cause analysis of equipment failures. You will also be expected to drive innovation while reducing operational costs in facilities.

About the Role:
  • Work rotational shifts of 4 days of 12 hours shifts (2 days followed by 2 nights), and 4 days off
  • Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking
  • Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
