Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Management Lead Specialist to join our team.
This role is responsible for developing solutions to challenges that require analysis and resolution, as well as addressing issues escalated from junior levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop procurement strategy and objectives in line with internal needs and government directions.
- Assist the Committee in the financial assessment of shortlisted bidders and report their decision.
- Evaluate change requests and assist in payment negotiation.
- Develop the procurement program highlighting the volume, nature, and timing of goods and services needed by Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
- Develop and/or update procurement policies and standards.
- Register suppliers willing to provide goods or services to Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority on supplier database.
- Follow-up with functions on progress of procurement plan.
- Monitor and develop regular reports/dashboard of procurement performance against set targets and KPIs.
- Follow all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person.
