We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Rotana Hotels. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute daily food preparation and duties to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure consistent quality and high standards in food preparation, staying up-to-date with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
  • Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation, actively participating in set-up and supervision of buffets and special functions.
  • Coordinate and participate in requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control across all kitchen sections.
  • Consult and check on daily requirements, functions, and last-minute events to ensure seamless execution.
  • Guide and train subordinates on a daily basis to maintain high motivation and a productive working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
