This shift is also driven by changing consumer behavior in favor of online payments. At the forefront of innovation, Amazon Payments is reimagining the payment landscape in the MENA region.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in KSA. This critical role will be at the forefront of shaping the growth and development of payments for Amazon shopping in Saudi Arabia, driving key goals, P&L, roadmap prioritization, external partnerships, and internal stakeholder management. The successful candidate will operate as a liaison between internal leaderships/stakeholders and external ecosystems, including banks, regulators, and payment providers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Payments Country Lead to drive Payments goals and P&L initiatives across improving payment experience, affordability, access, engagement, and reducing costs.
  2. Contribute to Payments product strategy and prioritize country-wide programs across different payment products and services.
  3. Lead specific payment programs end-to-end, encompassing strategy, P&L, and initiatives.
  4. Foster strategic partnerships within the KSA Payments ecosystem to enhance the payment offering for Amazon shoppers.
  5. Negotiate and finalize business contracts with partners, ensuring favorable terms for Amazon.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in fintech and payments.
  7. Represent Amazon at Payment industry events and conferences to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  8. Internal representation of the Payments team, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Legal, Ops) and broader Amazon teams (leadership, marketing, finance) to achieve objectives.
