Sports Arena Project Lead

Company Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead the development of large-scale sports arenas and stadia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee project scopes, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring they are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across various disciplines, fostering collaboration and communication to maximize project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on progress, milestones, and resource needs.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to anticipate, mitigate, and manage project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols throughout project execution.
  • Manage relationships with partners, stakeholders, and external resources to support project delivery.
  • Continuously assess and improve project management processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and excellence within the project teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on large-scale sports arenas/stadia.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex sports arena & stadia projects from inception through completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
