We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Coordinator to join our team at Kempinski Hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering procedures, identifying efficient and cost-effective measures for continual improvement, and supporting the overall advancement of our quality system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all electrical panels, motors, and electrical appliances.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that all related tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
  • Follow and maintain records of preventive maintenance charts for future reference.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to protect guests' and colleagues' health and safety.
  • Comply with hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the General Manager, Director of Engineering, and/or Assistant Director of Engineering.
Requirements
  • Equivalent of a high school graduate.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in an engineering department, preferably in a 5-star luxury hotel.
  • Previous experience as an Engineering Coordinator is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hotel software and engineering operations.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English and local language.
Competencies
  • Operational knowledge of engineering operations.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to pleasantly and effectively communicate with guests, hotel management, and hotel personnel.
  • Knowledge of hotel "guest software" is a plus.
  • Knowledge of engineering operation process.
  • Knowledge on engineering procedures and standards.
