Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive maintenance plans, ensure timely repair of machinery and equipment, coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and maintain compliance with company regulations and procedures.
  2. Team Management & Supervision: Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  3. Equipment & Facility Management: Oversee the upkeep of machinery, HVAC/PLC systems, electrical, piping, and building infrastructure, and coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance work.
  4. Health, Safety, & Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, conduct routine inspections for safety hazards and equipment failures, and implement workplace safety programs.
  5. Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage the maintenance department's budget, control costs related to repairs, replacements, and labor, and evaluate maintenance-related expenditures.
  6. Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and compliance reports. Provide regular updates to senior management on maintenance performance, set/monitor KPIs (key performance indicators), and scorecards for improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Engineering degree from a reputable institution.
  • A Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and HVAC systems, experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
  • Leadership & Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to train and develop maintenance staff.
  • Organizational & Analytical Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects, strong analytical skills for diagnosing equipment failures and process inefficiencies, budgeting and cost-control experience.
