Territory Sales Manager Role

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Territory Sales Manager to lead our oncology sales team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales and people within the assigned territory, including developing regional plans, staying aware of sales developments, and communicating with management.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Territory Planning and Execution
    1. Develop and implement regional plans for pharmaceutical representatives, identifying objectives for work on territory such as sales and market share, call contact rates, meetings, targeted physicians, strategies, and tactics.
    2. Stay informed about sales developments, physician reactions to promotional campaigns, trends in competition, new competitor product entries, and effectiveness of campaign materials through regular visits and communication.
    3. Lead the team of pharmaceutical representatives in planning and organizing activities within the territory, based on an analysis of opportunities and objectives, and implement action plans to maximize effectiveness.
    4. Optimize team territory planning and manage the sales force according to performance standards.
    5. Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports.
  2. Team Development and Leadership
    1. Enhance product knowledge and communication skills and coach the team of pharmaceutical representatives to maintain high professional competence.
    2. Create a Performance Development Plan with guidance from the manager, assess progress, and agree on the plan with sales reps.
    3. Recruit and retain top talent.
    4. Adhere to local laws and regulations and conduct oneself professionally and ethically consistent with policies.
    5. Develop and train sales representatives on effective sales techniques and continually monitor their performance.
  3. Key Client Relationships
    1. Maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients to promote image and products and ensure long-lasting partnerships.
