Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in garment construction and pattern making. You should be able to operate and maintain various sewing machines and equipment, and select appropriate fabrics, threads, and notions for each project.

Key Tasks

1. Create custom-made clothing items based on client specifications and measurements.
2. Perform alterations and repairs on a wide range of garments, including dresses, suits, and formal wear.
3. Operate and maintain various sewing machines, including industrial and specialized equipment.
4. Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and notions for each project.
5. Take accurate measurements and fit garments on customers as needed.
6. Interpret and follow patterns and design specifications.
7. Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
8. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
9. Collaborate with other team members to complete large-scale or complex projects.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
11. Stay updated on current fashion trends and sewing techniques.
