Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.

  • Project Management: Establish project objectives, create work plans, manage resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices to develop innovative solutions for clients' challenges.
  • Design and Analysis: Conduct detailed primary electrical design and analysis for various systems, components, and equipment.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all Electrical deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical design technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility in all engineering projects.
  • Project Delivery: Achieve an average project completion rate of 95%-98% within the specified timeline.
  • Technical Excellence: Reduce design errors and rework by 20%-30% through thorough reviews and verification processes.
  • Client Satisfaction: Maintain a client satisfaction score of 90%-95% based on post-project surveys.
  • Team Development: Conduct 2-4 training sessions or workshops to enhance the skills of junior engineers and designers in the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Primary Electrical design engineer within a consulting firm or a similar industry.
  • Job-Specific Skills: Proven expertise in 380Kv, 132kV, 33kV Substation/Underground/OHTL Primary System Design.
  • Proven expertise in Primary system design calculations.
  • Good understanding of project technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as ETAP, CDEGS, CYMGRD, EDSA, EMTD, Dialux, and other electrical engineering software.
  • Experience of renewable energy projects is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
