About This Position

This position involves working with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

As a Mainframe Modernization Architect, you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, you will provide guidance on industry trends to help them move legacy workloads from iSeries or Mainframe to the cloud using different AWS approaches such as Re-Platforming, Re-Factoring or Re-Architecting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
  • Leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
  • Leveraging deep AWS knowledge to guide sellers in proposing optimal solutions.
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
