The primary goal of this role is to create captivating retail experiences that showcase the capabilities of our machines, while also explaining the science behind hair. Reporting directly to the Senior Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing appointments and styling sessions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To engage with consumers in a highly competitive retail setting, generating interest and demonstrating our technology while discussing the science of hair in everyday language.
  • To achieve a balance between sales and service.
  • To develop an audience-first approach by enhancing personalization, 'VIP' experiences, and new offerings.
  • To deliver exceptional experiences that solidify Dyson's position as a leader in the haircare industry.
  • To maintain a high standard of visual merchandising in your area.
  • To provide blow-drying and styling services for customers.
  • To offer guidance on hair care techniques and recommend suitable products.
  • To manage daily and weekly bookings and find innovative ways to increase booking numbers.
  • To serve as a brand guardian, ensuring you possess in-depth knowledge of Dyson's products and services.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a stylist with a background in the blow dry sector would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience working within a premium beauty brand.
  • Proficiency in English and local market languages.
  • A track record of creating innovative solutions that solve problems or challenge conventional thinking.
  • An ability to adapt to targets.
  • Excellent customer-facing and sales skills, including the capacity to tailor your style to meet the needs of every customer.
  • Experience in a promotional marketing and sales background.
  • Confidence in providing in-depth consultations tailored to each customer's styling inquiries.
