This exciting opportunity is for a talented Energy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the design development team achieve high-performance design through advanced energy modeling and analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in energy modeling, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the sustainability sector of the built environment. They will be proficient in using software tools such as IESVE, OpenStudio, and Grasshopper to develop, implement, and validate complex energy models. Additionally, they will have expertise in ISO 50001 and energy management principles.
Responsibilities- Energy Modeling: Utilize software tools to generate detailed energy models of buildings, including architecture, façade, HVAC, and lighting systems.
- Energy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's ISO 50001-compliant Energy Management Systems.
- Sustainability Consulting: Collaborate with the sustainability team members and design development team to understand sustainability objectives and provide expert advice on energy-efficient designs and technologies.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to energy consumption, efficiency, and renewable energy sources to inform decision-making and optimize sustainability strategies.
