About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to join our team at Leantech. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and technical enhancement of our payment products that we offer to fintechs, banks, and our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of payment processing technologies, including card networks, ACH, and real-time payments, to drive strategic decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end integration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure seamless integration of third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways into our product infrastructure.
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap for payments and integrations.
  • Work closely with the development team to translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories and features, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.
  • Monitor and address security and compliance considerations related to payment processing, staying current with PCI-DSS, PSD2, and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Implement and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to payment processes and integrations.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background and understanding of software development.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to develop a product vision and strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting market research and analyzing data.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Self-starting mindset - when you see a problem, you want to fix it.
  • Ability to trade-off product requirements with timelines and priorities.
  • Experience in the financial sector, startups, B2B, and SaaS/API companies would be highly advantageous.
