Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support EUC L1 to join our team at Iron Systems. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve desktop device incidents through to resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
  • Desktop Support Services: Provide IMAC and desk side support services for desktop devices, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Offer standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance for desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and remote management using appropriate tools.
  • Service Desk Analysis: Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Security and Compliance: Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
Requirements:
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess knowledge and experience with Windows 7 OS, AD, smart hands and feet support, and MAC devices.
  • ITIL Process Awareness: Be aware of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
  • Education: Hold an associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics, or a bachelor's degree preferred.
