Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Azeus Systems Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing clear and concise reports for informational and operational use.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all accounting transactions and complete a full set of accounts
  2. Maintain accurate financial records, and prepare clear and concise reports for informational and operational use
  3. Prepare budget forecasts and ensure timely publication of financial statements
  4. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  5. Ensure timely bank payments and reconcile accounts, records, reports, and journals
  6. Monitor accounts receivables and coordinate with Sales Executives and clients in case of overdue accounts
  7. Assist with external and internal audit requirements and report on the company's financial health and liquidity
  8. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  2. Must have 2-5 years related experience in General Accounting, including End-to-End bookkeeping and year-end finalization work
  3. Must have good working knowledge of MS Excel and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  4. Must be well-organized and have keen attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  5. Able to speak fluently in English and Arabic
