Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Training Officer to join the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. As the Senior Technical Training Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and delivering technical training activities. You will work closely with the Operational Capability and Training team and senior district operational staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, technical training programs.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training, assessment, and workforce capability programs. They will also possess currency in a range of relevant operational roles and technical skill accreditations. Experience operating within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) environment and a demonstrated working knowledge of RTO policies and procedures are desirable.

This is an ongoing position, and the work location is flexible within the Gippsland Region with hybrid work arrangements available. To be considered for this position, applicants are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter summarising their skills and relevant experience.
