Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Construction Operations to oversee and lead pre and post-construction activities for all MMC projects, including 2D and 3D volumetric manufacturing, installation, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of volumetric building/manufacturing principles, including Kaizen, lean manufacturing, design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA), bills of materials (BOMS), and MRP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of work package plans to ensure all key deliverables for manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of assets align with the cost plan and programme objectives.
  • Provide input into the design phases to ensure design for manufacturing and assembly approach aligns with project deliverables and programme objectives.
  • Ensure design outputs align with the procurement execution strategy to develop supply chain ecosystems and core products into sub-assemblies that can be assembled into finished product in a manufacturing facility adjacent to the project.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable background in volumetric manufacturing and advanced manufacturing principles in premium residential assets.
  • Proficient in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
