Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Vendor Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring their performance aligns with our business needs. This includes developing and maintaining vendor management policies and processes, identifying and assessing potential vendors, conducting due diligence, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Policies and Processes: Develop and maintain effective vendor management policies and processes that align with our business goals.
  2. Vendor Identification and Assessment: Identify and assess potential vendors, conduct due diligence, and negotiate contracts that meet our business requirements.
  3. Performance Metrics and KPIs: Establish performance metrics and KPIs for vendor evaluation and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
  4. Vendor Performance Reviews: Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors to ensure continuous improvement.
  5. Issue Resolution: Resolve any vendor-related issues or conflicts in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize vendor selection and maintain preferred vendor lists.
  7. Trend Analysis: Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  8. Compliance: Ensure vendor compliance with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  9. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  3. Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of vendor management best practices, contract negotiation, and vendor performance evaluation; excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions; strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team; familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards; proficient in using vendor management software and tools; and knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, solutions, and industry trends is a plus.
