Job Description

This role is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of various medical diseases and conditions, focusing on Neuroradiology. The specialist will provide high-quality patient care according to their approved clinical privileges.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  1. Provides comprehensive medical imaging services to patients.
  2. Offers timely consultation upon request and responds within the prescribed timeframe as outlined by organizational policy.
  3. Ensures accurate completion, timeliness, and eligibility of medical reports.
  4. Provides on-call service and maintains availability within the specified timeframe in accordance with hospital policy.
  5. Conducts daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge and ensures that discharge orders are made within 24 hours prior to discharge.
  6. Performs other clinical responsibilities related to Neuroradiology medicine as assigned.

Academic Responsibilities:

  1. Provides guidance, supervision, and education to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
  2. Takes part in departmental educational activities and training programs, including national and international medical conferences.
  3. Maintains and enhances professional knowledge through continuing education requirements.

Research Responsibilities:

  1. Participates in clinical, basic, and translational research projects to advance knowledge and improve postgraduate education in line with Research Advisory Council Policy.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  1. Undertakes administrative duties assigned by the Head of Section or Chairman.
  2. Takes part in mandatory departmental activities, serves on departmental committees, and performs other administrative functions as required.
  3. Assists the department in implementing techniques and practices to optimize resource utilization within the department and across the organization.
  4. Avoids any non-compliance with current hospital and medical bylaws, relevant rules, regulations, and policies, ensuring awareness of changes.
  5. Fulfills all Organization's related Policies and Procedures.
  6. Engages in self-education and others' education, training, and development as applicable.
  7. Completes other related duties as assigned.
