Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Director to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain and Logistics department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing progressive strategies to enhance the sustainability and regenerative ability of our operations.

1. Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of Asterix Communications' SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative Strategies.
2. Operational Implementation: Lead the operational implementation, scheduling, and continuous improvement of Asterix Communications' SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative Strategies.
3. Net Zero Logistics and Supply Chain: Design, implement, and oversee NET ZERO LOGISTICS 2030 and NET ZERO SUPPLY CHAIN 2040 Strategies.
4. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate closely and support Asterix Communications' Sustainability Department.
5. Sustainability Policy Adherence: Ensure Asterix Communications' Supply Chain and Logistics operations adhere strictly to sustainability policies and initiatives.
6. Goal Achievement: Develop and execute endorsed plans and programs to achieve organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
7. Scope of Work and SLA: Lead the setting of Scope of Work, SLA, and RFP processes for SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative initiatives.
8. Continuous Improvement: Develop continuous improvement plans, programs, and activities to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative operations.
9. Operations Monitoring: Monitor and maintain operations records, utilization, productivity, HSE, KPI, and key metrics in relation to sustainability.
10. Documentation and IT Systems: Ensure that all transactions are strictly documented and updated in IT systems.
11. Sustainability Performance Measures: Establish sustainability performance measures and priorities for each SC&L operation.
12. Regular Inspections and Reviews: Conduct regular inspection visits and formal reviews to evaluate the SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative Strategies and operations.
13. Market Environment Monitoring: Continuously monitor the market environment to identify and implement opportunities for increasing and developing the SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative Strategies.
14. Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain proactive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
15. Staff Training and Development: Ensure ongoing training of staff to continuously develop incumbents' technical and HSE skills.
16. Reporting and Performance Appraisals: Prepare periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) reports with respect to SC&L Sustainability and Regenerative Strategies, operations, and new initiatives. Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates.
17. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by Asterix Communications Management.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Certifications: Advanced certifications in sustainability (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, CSR) are highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability, preferably in the construction industry. Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting. Expertise in sustainability certifications, such as LEED, BREEAM, or other relevant green building standards. Strong knowledge of sustainable construction practices, energy efficiency, and waste management.
