Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Gulf Marketing Group (GMG).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of our Distribution Centre, ensuring continuous stock flow and accurate stock levels.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock flow and minimize costs.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
  • Coach, develop, and train the team to achieve high performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage team performance and development, including coaching, training, and motivation.
  • Conduct regular appraisals and assessments to maintain high standards of employee performance.
  • Oversee staff rota and attendance, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Monitor and improve productivity levels, providing feedback to relevant supervisors.
Reporting and Communication
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Meet regularly with Merchandisers and other retail departments to discuss performance and provide updates.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on performance and costs.
Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policy and procedure in all aspects of housekeeping and safety.
  • Create and maintain standards appropriate to changing requirements and work practices.
  • Develop and maintain clear internal and external communication channels.
  • Provide accurate information and support to operations teams.
  • Maintain and deliver communication channels within the facility.
