Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive planning memoranda for each audit assignment, clearly outlining objectives and scope, and capturing meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with the department manager in designing and implementing the audit program for each assignment.
  • Carry out assigned audit tasks in accordance with the approved audit program.
  • Conduct exhaustive audits, incorporating tests and evaluations, and validate internal audit findings with relevant departments.
  • Verify the effectiveness of implemented guidelines throughout the execution of tasks.
  • Compile and evaluate data, producing detailed documentation and reports.
  • Preserve relevant documents and working papers, along with supporting evidence and documents.
  • Contribute to the preparation of audit reports.
  • Foster timely communication with relevant departments regarding corrective actions.
  • Upkeep the principles of internal auditing and best practices as outlined by the Institute of Internal Auditors and the quality assurance and improvement program.
  • Pursue ongoing improvement by adhering to quality assurance and improvement program requirements.
  • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the IA manager.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field from a reputable institution.

Minimum two years of experience in internal auditing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified internal auditor (CIA), CME-1B, GRCP-, GRCA.
