About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at JASARA PMC as a Senior Engineering Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing organizational policies and standards related to Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement organizational policies and standards related to Facilities Management.
  2. Liaise with industry bodies to capture the latest approaches to Facilities Management delivery.
  3. Study best practices on Facilities Management policies and seek their applicability to F&E.
  4. Review government guidelines including safety, environment, sustainability policies, procedures, and standards.
  5. Review international guidelines applicable to facilities management and incorporate applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  6. Update the Facilities Management Policies and Guidelines.
  7. Communicate updates to F&E on Engineering Policies and Guidelines.
  8. Coordinate with Regulatory Authorities to update standards.
  9. Recommend updates to the standards, policies, and guidelines for approval at the Infrastructure Board.
  10. Act as the custodian of the developed standards and specifications.
  11. Track and ensure compliance with Facilities Management policies, guidelines, and standards.
  12. Review design at various stages of the project (i.e. 30%, 60% & 90% completion) to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing organizational policies and standards.
