Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our guests.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, providing accurate and timely information to our guests.
  • Customer Service: Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Room Assignment and Maintenance: Welcome guests upon their arrival, assign rooms, and liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate, to enhance our guests' experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain updated records of bookings and payments, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Work Experience: Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with hotel reservations software and understanding of how travel planning websites operate.
  • Customer Service Attitude: A customer service attitude and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Education: A degree in hotel management is a plus.
