About the Role:
This senior nurse leader will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients according to organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. They will ensure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making necessary adjustments, and following hospital philosophies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective evidence-based nursing care to achieve identified health outcomes.
  2. Promote a healing environment and create partnerships with patients and families to establish goals and plans for delivery of patient-centered care.
  3. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
  4. Refers and coordinates patients' discharge arrangements with the case manager according to DSFH discharge policy.
  5. Performs other QI responsibilities as delegated from time to time by the Nurse Manager.
