Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to fraud and credit control. Your key tasks will include developing preventative strategies, monitoring activities for potential risks, and implementing solutions to minimize financial losses while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fraud detection and prevention strategies to safeguard the organization's assets.
- Monitor transactions for suspicious behaviors and irregularities to prevent financial losses.
- Investigate fraud cases, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve fraud incidents and maintain business continuity.
- Stay updated on fraud trends and industry best practices to ensure effective risk management.
- Credit Control:
- Develop and enforce credit control policies to manage customer payments and minimize credit risk.
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and adherence to agreed terms to prevent delinquencies.
- Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers to evaluate their creditworthiness.
- Work with the finance team to manage receivables and reduce bad debts to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Implement automated systems for better credit risk monitoring and decision-making.
- Risk Analysis & Mitigation:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a risk register for fraud and credit control cases to track and monitor risks.
- Design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks and prevent adverse impacts.
- Train employees on risk awareness and fraud prevention to promote a culture of compliance.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in analysis, preferably in risk management or related fields.
- Core Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
- Basic knowledge of risk-related laws and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to write clear and concise reports to communicate risk findings and recommendations.
- Effective communication with teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
- Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports and presentations.
- Proficiency in English is essential to communicate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
