Job Summary

The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of all on-site activities related to building systems. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and coordinates all on-site MEP activities to comply with applicable owner contract documents, engineer and government specifications, requirements and codes.
  • Establishes and conducts internal audits to ensure quality control requirements are met and recommends acceptance or rejection of all work in process as well as completed work items in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
  • Researches and develops solutions to MEP problems and conflicts through timely and accurate interpretation of contract documents.
  • Assists in reviewing purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements and ensures all MEP materials received on the project site are in compliance with contract documents and approved submittals.
  • Implements and enforces company safety programs and practices to create a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, electrical or construction and 2 years experience in at least one of the MEP disciplines is required for this position.
