Job Description

The Program Manager at 2P Perfect Presentation plays a pivotal role in overseeing multiple related projects to achieve strategic objectives. With a focus on driving program success, this individual is responsible for defining the program vision, developing the business case, and creating a management plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Define the overarching program vision, goals, and roadmap to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Create a comprehensive program management plan covering scope, schedule, resources, risks, and governance to ensure effective project delivery.
    • Determine interdependencies between projects and sequence workstreams logically to optimize resource allocation.
    • Prepare project execution plans, project charters, and project schedules to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Identify key stakeholders both internal (e.g., project managers, functional leaders) and external (vendors, partners) to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Set clear expectations among sponsors, steering committees, and project teams to promote transparency and accountability.
    • Communicate program status, milestones, issues, and change requests effectively across stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
    • Manage stakeholder interests and resolve conflicts to maintain positive relationships and minimize program risks.
    • Conduct meetings with clients as required, including kick-off, status updates, etc., to ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Resource Management and Allocation:
    • Allocate resources effectively across projects within the program to maximize efficiency and productivity.
    • Review and approve project resource hiring requests to ensure adequate staffing and skills.
    • Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as necessary to prevent overcommitting or underutilization.
    • Ensure that the project/program has the right mix of skills and expertise to meet project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
  • Program Governance and Oversight:
    • Define the program governance framework, including steering committee meetings, status reporting, change control processes, etc., to ensure accountability and transparency.
    • Continuously monitor project health, interdependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation activities to identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide consolidated reporting and analysis on schedule, budget, scope performance to inform decision-making and drive program success.
    • Identify program-level risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize program risks and ensure successful delivery.
    • Lead program change control and incorporate alterations from projects to ensure adaptability and responsiveness to changing requirements.
  • Special Projects:
    • Lead, manage, and execute specific projects/tasks assigned by management from time to time as per business needs, within allocated timeframes.
  • Coaching and Mentoring:
    • Coach, mentor, and guide team members to help them realize their potential and develop their skills and expertise.
    • Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide developmental inputs as required to support employee growth and development.
  • MIS & Reporting:
    • Assist in preparing timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet organizational requirements, policies, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project/program management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Preferred project management professional (PMP) or portfolio management professional certification.
  • Strong strategic thinking, risk management, project management, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and leadership skills.
