UAV Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled UAV Supervisor to join our team at BAE Systems. As a UAV Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our UAV training program.

1. UAV Operations Management: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of UAV training flights, including monitoring weather conditions, air traffic control, and crew performance.
2. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to UAV instructors and crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate UAVs safely and effectively.
3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that UAV training flights are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with UAV operations, including safety risks and operational risks.
5. Communication: Communicate effectively with UAV instructors, crew members, and other stakeholders to ensure that UAV operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

1. Education and Experience: A degree in a relevant field, such as aviation or engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in UAV operations or a related field.
2. Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UAV operations, safety procedures, and quality assurance protocols. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
3. Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid UAV pilot's license and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
