About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Windows Engineering Environment.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Windows Server Administration: You will be responsible for the administration of our Windows Server infrastructure, including servers, hardware, and Windows Operating Systems.
  2. Technical Expertise: You will require excellent knowledge of Microsoft Clustering Technologies, Print & File Server Administration, and multiple infrastructure domains such as Servers, Citrix, Virtualization, Linux, Windows, Database, Storage, and Network.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will need to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery.
  4. Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for providing quality assurance services to our Infrastructure domain, including reviewing and enhancing current ITIL processes, trend analysis, and improvements.
  5. Certification and Education: You will require at least one up-to-date advanced professional certification in Windows Server administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent.
