Data Virtualization Solutions:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and develop data virtualization solutions that meet the needs of our esteemed clients. You will work closely with our developers to assess and discover opportunities for data virtualization solutions that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating and influencing Center of Excellence strategies around data product vision, operating model, backlogs, and growth opportunities.
  2. Working with business and IT developers to assess and discover opportunities for data virtualization solutions that increases efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  3. Managing interactions with end users, vendors, and developers to lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of data virtualization projects across the organization.
  4. Selecting the appropriate set of technological tools and features for data virtualization projects, ensuring alignment of the solution with enterprise guidelines.
  5. Ensuring standards, compliance, and institutionalization of standard methodology.
  6. Aligns with Micron Security, Identity, and Access Management.
  7. Ensure issues are accurately documented, raised, and resolved in a timely manner.
  8. Communicates clearly, both written and verbally, with internal and external business partners.
  9. Raise issues and risk to management where appropriate.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields or equivalent experiences.
  2. Experience in building and managing virtualized views and data services that access, transform, and deliver the data that businesses require is preferred.
  3. Experience with SQL standards and stored procedures and capable of linking and relating multiple data sources to ensure accurate and efficient queries of good performance will be advantageous.
  4. Experience with maintaining and administrating data virtualization platforms in high availability and scalable environments is a plus.
  5. Understanding of data virtualization landscape trends, emerging technologies in the data virtualization domain.
  6. Passionate about continuously improving organizational practices.
  7. Creative and passionate in implementing innovative IT solutions to resolve meaningful business problems.
  8. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Highly adaptable to our fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing work environment; response and tackle high-priority manufacturing software applications problems, as required.
