Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate camera equipment to an intermediate level on shoots, including lighting and audio set-ups.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of composition, framing, light levels, exposure and camera settings to achieve the desired look.
  • Be prepared to discuss alternative approaches to shooting with Directors/Producers to achieve the best outcome.
  • Provide direct support and advice to Production Teams and other camera operators.
  • Drive kit to shoots.
  • Develop skills as an ENG operator.
  • Offline and online editing on Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Work as part of a team across a wide range of content for digital and social channels.
  • Basic grading and sound mixing.
  • Understand technical requirements to meet and uphold QC standards.
  • Ensure output complies with Whisper's editorial, technical, design and accessibility standards, while working to the company's Health and Safety policy.
  • Keep abreast of developments and trends in the Digital space and make suggestions for creative content.
  • Uphold the reputation of the company by embodying the ethos of Whisper.
